THON Raises Record $10 Million To Fight Paediatric Cancer

Annual Penn State dance marathon, also known as THON, has raised $10,686,924.83 in the year 2012 to fight paediatric cancer. More than 700 dancers participated in THON 2012, which took place in Penn State’s Bryce Jordan Center from 17^th to 19^thFebruary. THON is the largest student-run philanthropy in the world and raise funds and awareness to fight paediatric cancer since 1977.

The luxury cruising 60.20m superyacht Yogi sank 19 miles off the coast of the Greek island Skyros in the Agean Sea on 17/02/2012. All the 8 sailors on board were rescued by the Greece Air Forces with the help of 3 super puma helicopters and one frigate.

Built in the year 2011 by a Turkish shipyard Proteksan Turquoise, Motor Yacht Yogi was awarded as the most innovative yacht of the year 2011.
