US big-wave surfer Garrett McNamara set a new world record for the biggest wave ever surfed.
McNamara made history after successfully surfed on a 27-metre monster wave (that’s 90 feet) in Praia do Norte off the coast of Nazaré, Portugal. Nazaré Canyon is said to be the biggest in Europe and one of the largest in the world. Watch the video clip of that record breaking moment.
