The good news for the fans of Salman Khan is that his forthcoming action movie “Dabangg” is likely to release on 10th September (EID this year). “Dabangg” (dabang) means fearless, Salman Khan’s home-production produced by brother Arbaaz Khan and Directed by newcomer Abhinav Kashyap. In the film Salman plays the role of a corrupt police officer called Chulbul Pandey or Robinhood Pandey. The film based and highlights on the unlawful practices in the states of Uttar Pradesh and Bihar.
The movie also stars debutante Sonakshi Sinha (daughter of the veteran actor Shatrughan Sinha), Arbaaz Khan, Dimple Kapadia, Om Puri, Vinod Khanna, Anupam Kher, Sonu Sood, Mahie Gill and Mahesh Manjrekar. The music of the film has been composed by Sajid – Wajid, lyrics given by Jalees Sherwani, Faaiz Anwaar and Lalit Pandit.

Salman made an excellent comeback with Wanted, which had smashed the box office records in last year during EID.
