Yves Rossy, who is commonly known as ‘Jetman’ or ‘Fusionman’ set the world record after successfully flew across the English Channel on 26 September 2008 using a single jet-powered wing on less than 10 minutes.

Recently the 51 year old Swiss pilot set another world record on Nov 5, 2010 after jumping from a hot-air balloon (altitude of 2400 meter) and completed two aerial loops using his winged jet-pack.
