"3D-printed car"

The Strati is the World’s first 3D-printed car. Manufactured by Arizona based Local Motors, this two-seater and battery powered car Strati was displayed at the International Manufacturing Technology Show (IMTS) 2014, Chicago.

Using carbon-fiber reinforced polymer and custom-built 3D printer, the 3D printed car is made out of just 49 parts. Designed by Michele Anoe, it took around two days to build and can achieve maximum speed of 50 miles per hour.

Lance Ulanoff of Mashable has taken a short test-drive of that next generation car. Just hit the video below and amazed with the 3D printing technology of the future.
